Just some pictures

Hey guys!

Thought I would share some pictures now as my next post will be a TUSAL post and those are always very picture heavy so lets spread the love <3

First up will be some stitching because well this is a stitching blog after all.

I am getting so close to finishing Halloween Rules by LizzieKate.  I think there are just 2 more blocks after this one.

And this Frog Biscornu by Casey Buonaugurio is going to be the death of me.  The pattern printed out so tiny and is so hard to read but I am getting there.  The first side only needs little hearts in the corners and it will be finished.

The most wonderful Mama in the whole world, mine ;), made this beautiful wall hanging for me.  It fits in in my kitchen perfectly.  Thanks Mama!

Fall colors on Prince Edward Island

My oldest bambino at his 4H Halloween dance

This one is from last night before we went trick-or-treating.  Also notice there are no leaves left on the trees and the grass has turned a not so pretty shade of brown :( winter is on it's way.  Also would like to note I was not for the scary clown costume...

And my youngest at a community Halloween party

I also earned a couple badges from a stitching SAL on The Ultimate Cross Stitch Group on Facebook.  For this SAL each day the amount of stitches you had to stitch for that day was revealed and thankfully there were 4 or 5 days at the end to catch up if you fell behind... I needed those days.

The first one was for making it to the halfway point

And this one was for completing

And I guess that is all.

Hope you are all well and getting lots of stitching time in!

Happy Stitching!

October TUSAL

Hello friends!

It is TUSAL time again!!  Life has been busy as usual.  My stitching guild has started up again for the year so it is nice to get out a few times a month to stitch with my friends.  Yesterday was Thanksgiving in Canada so Happy Thanksgiving to all!  Other than that just trying to get ready for winter.

And now here are my orts and my stitching buddy.

And now my wips!

Hannah Lynn by Heaven and Earth Deisgns.  My goal was 600 stitches and I did 902!  My goal is going to stay the same at 600.

Halloween Rules by LizzieKate.  My goal was to finish this block and I am close but didn't manage.  New goal is to finish this block and half the next one.

Deepest Love by Mirabilia.  My goal was to finish her arms and I am so so close!  And really I did finish all of her arms that I could on the page I am working on.  New goal is to finish the page I am stitching on right now.

Noel 2013 by Les Chalet Des Perelles.  My goal was to finish this and I didn't even put one stitch in on it.  My goal will remain the same to get this finished.

Frog Biscornu by Casey Buonaugurio.  My goal was to finish filling in this side and I am 2 dark pick petals away from that goal.  New goal will be finish filling in this side and make a good start on the next side.

And lastly my Draft Horses.  I had no goal on this one.  So any progress is great.  I added 354 stitches since last time and I don't think I will make a goal for this one since I don't know when I will haul it out again.

I earned a badge for completing 1000 stitches for the Mini Million Marathon in the Ultimate Cross Stitch Goup.  It was a 20 day event to try as a group to stitch 1,000,000 stitches.  We didn't quite manage but were very close with 981,127 stitches.  I ended with about 1800 stitches.

Yesterday I was taken out finished off the Dodgeball event in Semi Sane Stitchers on facebook.  It was so much fun and had some great teammates and competition.

Here are my boys waiting for the bus one pretty morning.

And this is what our morning are looking like lately.  Very cool and frosty!

And I guess that is if for me.

Hope you all are well!

Happy Stitching!

Keep on keepin' on

Hello stitchy friends!

I finished the page I was working on on Titania and I was going to put her away for a bit now but I think I will just keep on going with her.  I am really enjoying stitching her right now so don't mess with a good thing right?

I managed to finish of 3 more colors on Cottage Trio.  Hopefully I can finish 3 more today.

On the Heaven and Earth facebook group they had a post asking people to post a picture from where they live and I thought that was a neat idea so this is my picture which I found on google.  I grew up on this road, though the part I live on has pavement.  It was dirt until I was 4 or 5 I think, maybe younger but this part, as far as I know, is still dirt.  I really should take a drive out that way this summer and check it out.  If any of you would like to share a picture from where you grew up I would love to see them so let me know in the comments if you do.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stitching!
