Just some pictures

Hey guys!

Thought I would share some pictures now as my next post will be a TUSAL post and those are always very picture heavy so lets spread the love <3

First up will be some stitching because well this is a stitching blog after all.

I am getting so close to finishing Halloween Rules by LizzieKate.  I think there are just 2 more blocks after this one.

And this Frog Biscornu by Casey Buonaugurio is going to be the death of me.  The pattern printed out so tiny and is so hard to read but I am getting there.  The first side only needs little hearts in the corners and it will be finished.

The most wonderful Mama in the whole world, mine ;), made this beautiful wall hanging for me.  It fits in in my kitchen perfectly.  Thanks Mama!

Fall colors on Prince Edward Island

My oldest bambino at his 4H Halloween dance

This one is from last night before we went trick-or-treating.  Also notice there are no leaves left on the trees and the grass has turned a not so pretty shade of brown :( winter is on it's way.  Also would like to note I was not for the scary clown costume...

And my youngest at a community Halloween party

I also earned a couple badges from a stitching SAL on The Ultimate Cross Stitch Group on Facebook.  For this SAL each day the amount of stitches you had to stitch for that day was revealed and thankfully there were 4 or 5 days at the end to catch up if you fell behind... I needed those days.

The first one was for making it to the halfway point

And this one was for completing

And I guess that is all.

Hope you are all well and getting lots of stitching time in!

Happy Stitching!

September TUSAL

Hi guys!!

TUSAL time came and went and all I managed was to get the picture!  I was working all last week and after a long day of lugging 50lb bags of feed I am too tired to do much of anything in the evenings.  Thankfully this week I am back to my normal schedule so I am hoping to get some things done around the house and some stitching too!

Here are my orts:

And here is what I stitched on this month:

Ping Panda by Brooke's Books.  My goal was to finish her and I did!

Hannah Lynn by Heaven and Earth Designs.  My goal was 600 stitches.  I did 406.  Not even close.  New goal will be 600 stitches.

Halloween Rules by LizzieKate.  My goal was to finish the Sit For A Spell block and I did and even started on the next block!  New Goal - finish this block.

Deepest Love by Mirabilia.  My goal was to start stitching her hair and I think the little bit of browns at the very top is her hair so yay!  New goal finish her arms.

Noel 2013 by Le Chalet Des Perelles.  My goal was to finish the house and I probably only managed about a third of it but I did finish the snowman and most of the tree on the right so still pretty happy with my progress.  New goal - finish this.

Frog Biscornu by Casey Buonaugurio Designs.  My goal was to finish filling in this side and that has been my goal for 2 months now but I still haven't managed to complete it.  New goal - finish filling in this side!

And that is all the stitching I did last month.  Now onto some life updates!

Both my boys are in school this year.  Here they are on the first day of kindergarten and grade 4.

We went on a little vacation at the end of the summer to attend a wedding and here we are on the ferry to the mainland.  There are three ways off our little island, the ferry, the Confederation bridge and by plane.  I have never left by plane but have used the other 2 ways many times but the ferry is my favorite.

I recently joined a new stitching group on facebook called The Ultimate Cross Stitch Group (click the link and come join us!) and every time you complete an event they give you a badge so I thought I would start posting the badges I earn here.  I earned this badge by stitching 1000 stitches during the first week of school.

And well that is it for me this month.

Hope you are all doing well and stitching as much as your heart desires.

Thanks for stopping by!

Haircut day!

Hello!

Today was finally haircut day.  Please don't judge me on the state of my children's hair. :)

As you can see they were not very excited.  Especially Brayden.

Here is my wild man Thomas with his new doo.  He sat like a little angel while getting his hair cut.  A lady even commented on how well behaved he was.  And then he was done getting his hair cut and the poop hit the fan.  He was crawling behind chairs and he didn't want to wait for Brayden to get his cut and was yelling that he didn't like me because he had to wait.  So he got to sit on a time out and was much better behaved after a little break from reality.

And here is Brayden doing a silly face.  We never went though any tantrums like Thomas does with Brayden so I am still trying to figure that whole part of parenting out.

I have put a few more stitches in on ABC's Of Parenting which I really need to get finished as I need this hanging in my house as soon as possible.  You know so I don't put Thomas on a permanent time out!

New start and a couple pirates

Hello again!

I just realized that I shared this project on my TUSAL post but didn't actually tell you all that I had started it.  This is ABC's of Parenting by Lizzie Kate.  I started in on October 24 and am stitching it as part of a Lizzie Kate SAL.

I am a little late with this picture but here are my 2 loves on Halloween.  They both went into the costume store with different ideas of what they wanted to be but once they saw the hook and sword and gun it was a done deal.  They had a great time out trick-or-treating and I am still tired from all the excitement ha!

Hope you all are well!

Happy 3rd Birthday Tom-O

Hiya!

This is my small start on Sweet Tooth.  I was done in after that birthday party so I am surprised I even managed this bit.

Every year on Thomas's birthday I take a picture of him on Brayden's knee.  This was the day he was born.

This was his first birthday.  Look at the wild hair!

Birthday #2.

And this was today's picture.  My handsome little boy is growing up too fast but they all do don't they?  Right this moment he is leaning against me sleeping, today was another busy day and I still don't think he was recovered from yesterday.  He sure keeps me on my toes and I can't imagine what life would be like without him.  Happy Birthday Tom, love Mama xo

He just wanted a kiss!

Hello friends!

Here is the promised picture of Little Wings.  I am pretty happy with it for 18 days of stitching.

And here is the 19th day progress.  Green, green, and more green.  Luckily green is my favorite color.

Today while I was at my mom's I found 2 buttons for Joy to the World.  All that is left is to put some backing on it.  My mom had a really good idea to use old Christmas cards and use the verse that is on the inside for the backing. Now I have to look through my Christmas cards, I knew there was a reason I was saving them.

And Thomas just wanted to kiss his big brother but Brayden was not really in a kissy mood.

But when Thomas wants to give you a kiss it is easier to just let him because he won't stop until he gets you.

Love these two!

Day 68-70 Hannah Lynn and the boys

These first 2 are of day 68

Day 69
Day 70
And here's the boys.  My little old man trapped in a 5 year old's body has been telling me things he would like to give to me as a gift.  Last week it was Proactiv, which I do not need, and tonight he came and told me that he found something I could use.  He said "It is like a "shaver" (which I am assuming he means a shaving razor) and it will cut off all the yucky stuff on your feet and make them look nice like mine." Ummm, thanks?  I can just imagine the gifts his future spouse will be receiving HA!

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas....

But I am pretty sure we aren't going to have one. :(  The weather person says +14 and major rainfall!  Not how I picture Christmas day but we will make do.

Here are my loves playing on their Daddy's phone.

My mom, sister and niece were over for a morning of Christmas baking and here is Elly "helping" her Nona.  Thomas was way to cool to be helping us bake... instead he was trying to sneak presents to his room to unwrap.

I received my last package from LizzieKate.  I am sad to see these come to an end but they were so generous with the prizes.  If you ever get a chance to enter a LizzieKate contest do it!  Click here to visit LizzieKate blog.  They are always showing new designs they are releasing and that is where I found out about the contest.

I have been stitching away on these Pitbulls for my nephew.  Wowzers there is major confetti happening!  But I am really happy with how it is looking!  I hope he will be too.
