A new little start

Hello friends!

I started this little cutie yesterday as part of a Halloween SAL on facebook but when I went to post my progress the SAL event was gone so I am stitching this on my own now.  No bother, I have been wanting to get this stitched for a long time and the SAL was just my excuse to start it when I did.  I have a little modification in mind for this pattern, the first time I have ever modified anything so I hope it works out.

Hope you all are having a wonderful day!

Happy Stitching!

Some progress

Hiya!

Lets get right at it.

Here is Hannah Lynn.  She is coming along wonderfully and I am still really enjoying stitching her.  I don't know if it is because of the colors or that I find diagonal parking so much fun or maybe a combo of the two.

I am sure some of you will be surprised that Sheila Sheep already has her eyes. I think she is rather creepy looking right now so I don't know if I will make a habit of stitching eyes so early any more but she is going to be so cute when she is all finished.

Thanks for visiting with me today!

Happy Stitching!

Lizzie Kate SAL

Hey everyone!

There is a group of us bloggers and flosstubers (which are cross stitch videos on youtube) on Google+ that are going to do a Lizzie Kate SAL.  We know not everyone is on Google+ so there has been a blog set up for us to post on and see everyone else's progress.  It is a very relaxed SAL and if any of you have a Lizzie Kate you want to stitch and want to join us check out Christie's post for all the details.  Thanks Christie for organizing and setting this all up!

Late October TUSAL

Hiya guys!

My TUSAL report is a little late but I did take the picture on the right day just hadn't gotten the picture to my computer until today.

Here are my orts.

And here is the stitching that contributed to those orts:

Hot Cocoa by M Designs from the 2013 Just Crossstitch Ornament Issue - finished.

Little Wings by Lavender and Lace - finished

Beatirx Potter Bunnies - Page 12 finished

Hannah Lynn from Heaven and Earth Designs

Save the Stitches by Blackwork Journey

Kenny Kangaroo by Brooke's Books - finished

And that is it.  I had a pretty productive month.  I guess that is what happens when school starts again for the year and I have 2 less children here every day ha!

Happy Stitching!

I'm a winner!!

Hiya guys!

I recently entered a giveaway on instagram from XJudesign (XJudesign blog) and I won!  Here are the gorgeous hand painted threads I got that came all the way from Hungary!  They are even more beautiful in person and I can't wait to stitch something up with them!

And then I had a look at the etsy shop and I had to have this hand dyed lace!  I have been looking for the perfect little something to add to my Frosted Pumpkin Halloween Spooky Sampler pillow and I think this is perfect!  The pillow is a little off kilter so I wanted to add something to one side to even it up some.

But I would like some opinions on how to add it.

Like this?

Or like this?

Thanks again XJudesign for the scrumptious threads and lace!  I love them!
