FFO #3 Quoth The Raven

Hi friends!

A big thank you to my Mom for pretty much finishing this all her self.  She is a seamstress so I had brought over a few finishes to go through her fabric and see what I could match up.  But I didn't have any ribbon that I thought would work so I didn't do anything with this one but then a few days later I brought some more ribbon over and told my Mom that I was just checking to see if any ribbon would work and she says "Oh I have that one all done"  So good job Mom!  My little touch was adding the beads for the feet today.

At the end of my thread

I am as far as I can go on Quoth the raven because I have run out of The Gentle Art Carriage Black thread.  Silly me thought I would have enough to do the whole thing.  That is how good my estimating skills are.  

I also just found out that Heaven and Earth Designs changes the Free Charts they offer.  I don't know if this is a regular thing or just when the mood strikes them but right now there is a free Hannah Lynn chart.  

How cute is that and it is free!!  I am really enjoying the Hannah Lynn I am stitching right now so I think this one will go in the ever growing to do pile. :)

My camera is having an off night/update

Sorry for the cruddy pictures :(  the lens on my camera is scratched and sometimes the pictures turn out ok and then the next they are kinda fuzzy.  So until I get a new camera we will just have to deal.  :)

Day 67 Hannah Lynn and a new start

Day 67 - I made it to the top of this row but I am missing 3 colors that I have to go back and do.  My sister and I share threads.  She has my missing threads.  Hopefully I will see her tomorrow and then I will be able to really finish this row.  

The tread sharing usually works out pretty good but once and awhile we end up needing the same color.  At least she only lives across the road.  

And since I didn't want to move my Q-Snaps until I had finished the top of Hannah Lynn and also because my stitching group was cancelled tonight because of the extremely cold weather, I made a new start to cheer myself up.

This is Quoth the Raven by Kincavel Krosses.  It is a freebie and all you have to do to print it is click on the picture of the chart and print.  I am stitching it on 35ct Northern Cross Off-White Linen and I am using Gentle Arts Carriage Black thread.  So far so good but that border might kill me yet...
