Hi friends! I almost have the
first day done and I think this may be my most favorite project ever! And that is saying a lot since earlier today I had the crown, the bird, the top part of the tree and 2 pears all stitched when I realized they were in the wrong spot and had to haul all that work out and I am still loving it. If anyone is interested, I am stitching this on 40ct Dirty Linen and I am using Classic Colorworks/Crescent Colours Manor Red, The Gentle Art Cucumber and Treasure Braid PB02. I am also going to need a black later on and I am not sure yet which one I will use, but I will let you all know when I decide.
I also got a few goodies at stitching night tonight. One of the ladies was given someone's stash who isn't stitching anymore or who was just cleaning some things out and I got 2 small pieces of fabric 25ct dark blue Lugana and a 28ct black evenweave of some sort, a bunch of Mill Hill beads and some spools of Kreinik. So thank you kind person who donated these things, I will definitely put them to good use! :)
