April TUSAL, Tatting and a New Start!

Hello!  It is time again for TUSAL.  I think I had a pretty good month and the tatting orts really filled my jar up!

I started at the beginning with the tatting again.  One of my friends from the stitching guild is also tatting and she gave me the loan of a beginners tatting book and told me to start at the first and follow the lessons and boy am I glad I did.  I had the idea of how to tat but I wasn't doing it properly and for that reason my pieces weren't laying very nicely.  I am very pleased with how my improved tatting is looking.  I am really looking forward to getting some more colors of thread to try out too.

I have also started Refl-egg-tions in my Mo's Sale silks.  I absolutely love the colors of the silk but it is super slippery and kind of hard to stitch with, but it looks lovely when it is stitched up.  I am really looking forward to having this hanging on my wall next Easter.

Happy Stitching Everyone!!

    1. Thanks for the lovely comment Alison! I am really enjoying tatting and I think the bookmarks would make great Christmas presents along with a book or book store gift card :)

    1. Thanks Mini! It is really fun to do and not hard at all. The hardest part is reading the pattern :)
