49%

Hiya!  Well Titania is about 49% done.  There is just a tiny bit of her dress and a green vine to complete on the right hand side and the bottom half will be done!!  I also found out now that I am starting on her wings that the majority of her wings are stitched with 1 strand of Kreinik blending filament.  Not fun.  I feel like if I am not careful with how hard I pull on it that it is going to snap and stretch and drive me crazy!

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy stitching!

Titania weekend progress

Well I am sad to see the weekend go but it was very successful in the stitching department.

Here is Titania before:

And here is the section I was working on:

I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Mo's Sale Grab Bag Sale

Hey, just wanted to let you all know that Mo's Sale is having a grab bag sale.  23 skeins of beautiful hand-dyed cotton floss for $17!!  The only catch is it is a grab bag so it is whatever random colors she decides to put in, 2 of each color and 1 extra to make the 23.

I bought some the last time she had a sale and these were the colors I got,

Absolutely beautiful so run and grab some for yourself!!

She's baaaack!!

Hello stitchy friends!  I have been getting lots of stitching in now since my sister's wedding has come and gone.  Once I get some pictures back I will share some with you all.

Here is Titania the last time you saw her.

And here she is now.  I am so close to adding some metallic and I can't wait to see how it looks!

Last night Mr. Brayden and I went to his first 4H meeting.  I was in 4H when I was younger and I remember having so much fun, so when I found out they were offering a program for younger kids I asked him right away if he wanted to go.  He is really into farming and doing hands on things so I am sure he will have a blast.

Thanks for stopping!  Happy stitching!

Late TUSAL

I'm late.  But I have a very good excuse.  My little sister got married yesterday and I don't even remember this last week.  Between baking 90 cupcakes, helping her make her wedding cake, which took 3 different ideas to work out, picking up flowers and everything else it takes to have a perfect wedding I am surprised I even remembered to feed my kids.  But I did get quite a lot of stitching in this month as it was a great stress reliever.  So better late than never here is my TUSAL jar.

Thanks for stopping by and now I am going to try to get caught up some sleep I missed out on.

FFO #3 Quoth The Raven

Hi friends!

A big thank you to my Mom for pretty much finishing this all her self.  She is a seamstress so I had brought over a few finishes to go through her fabric and see what I could match up.  But I didn't have any ribbon that I thought would work so I didn't do anything with this one but then a few days later I brought some more ribbon over and told my Mom that I was just checking to see if any ribbon would work and she says "Oh I have that one all done"  So good job Mom!  My little touch was adding the beads for the feet today.

So here is Quoth the raven.  If you want to know what thread and fabric were used click here.

These are the bead packs I got today at Walmart.  Pretty good deal I think :)

Happy Stitching!

First line done on Promise Me

Hi!  I finished the first row on Promise Me by LizzieKate.  I love their patterns and this one is no different.  The thread colors they chose are gorgeous!  I am planning to stitch this one 3 times, twice for my own boys and then once more for a new niece or nephew we have coming in January.  And I think the third time I might pick out some Mo's or Fiberlicious threads I have in my stash.

Happy Stitching!

Don't judge me by how behind I am in my blog reading

I read blogs 2 different ways, I have a netvibes account that I keep up on daily but I only use it for blogs that don't offer an email subscription, and the rest of the blogs use the email subscription option.  The email option is what I am behind on.  I am currently reading blogs from April.  My sister tells me that I should just delete everything and start fresh but if I had listened to her I wouldn't have known that I was nominated again for the One Lovely Blog Award by Crafting Paws...way back in April.  There is no hope for me so just go with it, I have given in to my 13000+ hotmail inbox.

So I just wanted to thank Crafting Paws and tell you guys to go check her blog out she stitches the cutest things, think The Frosted Pumpkins and Cloudsfactory, and she has the cutest kitties!

I am still amazed anybody wants to read my ramblings let alone award me for them haha!

P.S.  I pulled out Promise Me by Lizzie Kate today and I almost finished the top row of words so keep an eye out for a progress picture soon :)

Beatrix Potter Bunnies page finish!

Well everybody I hunkered down and got this page finished!

Page 11 is complete.  I used to mark my pattern off with pencil.  I know I can hear all of you cringing.  That is why at the top of page 11 it looks like I was using darker thread.  I am hoping a nice bath will fix that.

And here is the whole thing.

Thanks for stopping by!

Beatrix Potter Bunnies progress

Hello!  Here were my bunnies last time I showed them.

And here is where I am at today.

Another day or two and I should have a page finish.

Here is Mr. Grade 1 heading out on his first day of school yesterday.  He had a great day, got the teacher he wanted and most of his good friends in his class.

And Tom-O is loving being an only child all day long.  Here he is lounging, and eating some Froot Loops.  Oh to be 2 again.

Thanks for stopping by.  Happy Stitching :)

FFO #2 Hen Party

Hello again!  I finished off Hen Party today with the help of my Mama.  I am so pleased with my cube finish!!

If you want to know how to make a cube finish Little House Needleworks has a great tutorial.

There are also a couple of youtube videos that give you a step-by-step tutorial and if you are visual like me they will be very helpful.
