February TUSAL

Hiya!

I am now caught up on TUSAL!!  Well for a few days anyway.

Here is my jar:

Mothers And Daughters by The Victoria Sampler.  My goal was to finish the vine row and the next row and as you can see I made it much further than that!  I pretty much only have the 2 sections of hardanger left so *fingers crossed* this might be a finish by next month!  That is my new goal.

Odette Owl by Brooke's Books.  My goal was to finish her and I did! Yay!

The other part of my goal was to make a good start on the next one and I did that too!  This is Ethan Elephant.  New goal is to finish him.

ABC Christmas by LizzieKate.  My goal was to finish the word "Holly" and I did!  I stitch on this as my project for the Christmas Ornie SAL blog and it doesn't match up with any of the themes for the next few months so I will be putting it away for a little bit.

Here is the whole project:

So I had to start something new to go along with this months theme which is Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer.

Which brings me to new start #1 Rudolph Kranz by Kissy-Cross.  New goal is to finish it by next month.

Hannah Lynn from Heaven And Earth Designs.  My goal was 1000 stitches and I did 617.  Didn't reach my goal but still fairly happy with that progress.  I finished all the way to the top of the row I was working on and started back at the bottom of the next one.  New goal same as old goal, 1000 stitches.

Halloween Rules by LizzieKate.  My goal was to finish this block and I am close but didn't make it.  New goal is to finish this block and the next one.

Deepest Love by Mirabilia.  I must sound like a broken record on this one.  My goal was once again to get her tail finished and once again it isn't finished!  I am getting close though so my new goal will again be to finish her tail.

Heather Hemstitch and Hardanger if you remember this piece from last month you may notice that it does not look any different.  My goal was to keep up with the lessons with my stitching guild and I have done that since all of our meetings where we would have worked on this have been cancelled because of the weather.  Doesn't Mother Nature know she has to behave on stitch nights?!  New goal is to once again keep up with the lessons.

Beatrix Potter Bunnies by LCStitchery came out to play for a little bit.  I have missed working on it and I am pretty sure it was 2016 the last time I had stitched on it.  I don't really have a goal for this one as I only have it out for a SAL and it is almost over so however much more I get stitched is great.

Here is what the whole piece looks like so far:

New start #2 for the month was Spring Sampler by The Frosted Pumpkin.  New goal is to finish 2 blocks.

And new start #3 was Hello Spring by LizzieKate.  New goal is to have it finished by next month.

Phew!  Well that's all I got folks!

There is a nasty sounding storm expected to start anytime now, the wind has already started so I am going to get cozy and stitch the evening away.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stitching!

January TUSAL

Hiya!

I'm back with another TUSAL.  Only a month behind now!

Mothers And Daughters by The Victoria Sampler - My goal was the finish the white lacy band and the next band but as you can see I only finished the lacy band.  1 over 1 stitching takes such a long time!  New goal - finish this band and the next one.

Odette Owl by Brooke's Books- I had hoped to have Odette finished but she ended up going slower than planned.  New goal - finish Odette and make a good start on the next one.

ABC Christmas by LizzieKate - My goal was to finish the word "Holly" but sadly this was a far as I got.  New goal - Finish "Holly"

Hannah Lynn by Heaven And Earth Designs - My goal was to add 1000 stitches and I added 716.5.  I am happy with that.  New goal - 1000 stitches

Halloween Rules by LizzieKate - My goal was to finish block 4 and 5.  Block 4 is finished and I only started block 5.  New goal - finish block 5

Deepest Love by Mirabilia - My goal was to finish her tail.  Still not done but I think I will be by next month.  New goal - Finish her tail.

Heather and Hemstitch - This is a new start this month.  I am stitching this with my stitching guild as a group project.  New goal - is to keep up with the other guild members.

And I think that is it.

I am presently nursing a horrible cold and eye infections in both eyes.  I have been doing next to no stitching and missed work most of the week.  I am ready to be better now.  Any healthy good vibes you can send my way would be very appreciated!

I hope you all are in good health!

Happy Stitching!

Late December TUSAL

Hello all!

Here is my TUSAL jar for December.  Just living in the past here :)

Mothers And Daughters by The Victoria Sampler - My goal was to finish the verse and it is finished!  And I made some fairly good progress on the next band too.  New goal is to finish this band and the next one by next TUSAL post.

Larry Lion by Brooke's Books - My goal was to get him finished and he is finished!!

I also wanted to have the next one, which is Odette Owl, half way stitched and she is about halfway stitched so go me!  New goal - Finish Odette and get started on the next one.

ABC Christmas by LizzieKate - My goal was to finish the word "Evergreen" and the little branches that go with it and the next word which was "King" and they are both finished!  New goal is to finish the next word which I think will be "Holly"

Hannah Lynn by Heaven and Earth Designs.  My goal was to add 1000 stitches and I think I was pretty close or maybe even made it.  I am going to start keeping track of my stitches on this one so I can know for sure each month.  New goal - another 1000 stitches.

Halloween Rules by LizzieKate.  My goal was to finish block 3 and 4.  Block 3 is finished and block 4 is almost finished.  New goal - finish block 4 and 5

Deepest Love by Mirabilia.  My goal was to fix all the frogging I had to do last month and I almost have it fixed.  New goal - Finish her tail.

And this one I started and finished last month.  It is called Sweet Heart by Stone Street Stitchworks and it is a freebie you can get on their facebook page.

And that is everything!  I hope to find a few minutes sometime soon to be back with January's TUSAL and then hopefully I can stay caught up from now on but that probably won't happen :)

Happy Stitching!

November TUSAL

Well hello again!

It was super busy my first holiday season at work and I got way behind in my blogging so I am trying to play catch up.

Please just pretend like it is still November and humor me while I pretend like I am not 2 months behind on my TUSAL.

So here is my jar.  This picture wasn't taken on November 18th but I hadn't been doing any stitching at all so this is exactly what my jar looked like on November 18th.

And here are the projects that contributed to the jar:

Mothers And Daughters by The Victoria Sampler - My goal was to finish the rest of the verse I am close to doing so, only two more lines after this one.  New goal will be to finish that verse once and for all and maybe 1 more band after that.

Larry Lion by Brooke's Books - My goal was to finish him and as you can see he isn't.  New goal is finish him!  And get the next one at least half finished.

ABC Christmas by LizzieKate - Apparently I didn't make a goal for this one last month but since I was trying to finish one word each month I am going to say that was my goal.  And I did finish the word but not the little bit of evergreen branches that go next to it.  New goal - finish this word and the next one.

Hannah Lynn by Hannah Lynn from Heaven and Earth Designs - My goal was to add 1000 stitches and while I didn't really keep track I am pretty sure I added about 600.  New goal - same as last month, 1000 stitches.

Halloween Rules by LizzieKate - My goal was to finish block 4 and 5.  That was lofty since I still haven't finished the third block!  New goal - finish block 3 and 4

Deepest Love by Mirabilia - My goal was to finish her tail.  That did not happen.  And more than likely won't happen next month either because since this picture was taken I found a booboo.  A big booboo.  This chart has 3 different blended thread colors and what I usually do if I run out of symbols to stitch but still have blended thread left on my needles is I will neatly wind it up and stick it on my fabric and then write the symbols on my chart in order of needle left to right on my fabric.  Well somehow I mixed two blended threads up.  I know, shocking with my method of keeping track of them!  <- sarcasm  So you see on this part below how it goes white, light green, whitesh then darker green?  Well the light green and the whitesh are backwards.  And sadly that isn't the only section I messed up on.  New goal - fix my booboo.

So that's all folks.  Work has slowed down to a snails pace so I am back to regular stitching I think.  And I will hopefully be back soon with a finish post and another TUSAL.

Happy Stitching!
