First TUSAL of 2019!!

Happy 2019 everyone!!
Hope your new year is going wonderfully!  Mine so far has been pretty good.

December was pretty much a bust in the stitching department so most of these orts are from the new year.  I have even managed a couple finishes so far this year!  Things are looking up :)

Now for the stitching!

Halloween Rules by LizzieKate - My goal was to finish the Howl at the Moon block and I only managed to add "at the".  And I am not going to add a new goal because I have since finished it!

Crazy Socks by Rosewood Manor - I hadn't set a goal for this one but I did manage to fill in quite a bit more on the border and since I am not sure when this one will pop up again I am not going to bother with a goal.

Hannah Lynn by Heaven and Earth Designs.  My goal was 600 stitches.  I only managed to get 211.5 in.  My goal of 600 stitches will remain the same.

Alistair Alligator by Brooke's Books.  My goal was to finish him and I did!  New goal is to get the last 2 in this series finished.

Deepest Love by Mirabilia.  My goal was to finish the page I was working on and the white pouf thing in her hand and I did!  New goal is to finish all the stitching.

New start and finish!  Joy a freebie from Pineberry Lane Designs.

Here are my silly boys on Christmas Eve with their new jammies.

The Semi Sane Stitchers group on Facebook is having a Stitch Through the Solar System event.  1 stitch equals 1 mile and so far I have stitched the diameter of Ceres, 590 miles, and Makemake, 1180 miles.  Next up is Haumea with 1218 miles.  Not sure if I will ever get Jupitar finished... 88846 miles in diameter!

I was also so very lucky to win an end of the year drawing in Semi Sane Stitchers and I got a Heaven and Earth Pattern.  I chose Witches and Crones by Jane Wooster Scott.  I would love to start it right now but I am going to finish Hannah Lynn before I start this one.

So that is it for this super late TUSAL post.  It has been in a half finished state for 2 weeks now so this morning I made myself put everything else off until I finished it!  Now it is back to laundry for me.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Stitching!

December TUSAL

Hiya!!

TUSAL time again!  How are we at the end of the year already?!  My little ort jar looks hungry doesn't it?  Oh well January will hopefully bring more stitching time for me.

Now onto the progress

Hannah Lynn by Heaven and Earth Designs.  My goal was 600 stitches and I put in 666.5!  My goal will stay the same at 600 stitches.

Halloween Rules by LizzieKate.  My goal was to finish the Howl block and get started on the last block but I did not come even close.  New goal will be to finish the Howl block.

Deepest Love by Mirabilia.  My goal was to finish the page I was working on and I am close but didn't quite manage.  Do you see where the line is on the edge of her arm?  That is the page end so really I just have a little bit more of her hair to stitch and it will be finished.  My new goal will be to finish that page and the white thing in her hand.

Frog Biscornu by Casey Buonaugurio Designs.  My goal was to finish 2 frogs and I only got about halfway there.  New goal is to finish this.

Spring Sampler by The Frosted Pumpkins.  My goal was to finish the fifth block and I did!  Top row is finished!  No new goal since I don't know when I will stitch on this again.

ABC Christmas by LizzieKate.  My goal was to finish the word Angel and I did.

I also made a good start on Yule Log so my new goal will be to finish it.

New start #1 was Alistair Aligator by Brooke's Books.  Goal is to finish him by next time.

New start #2 was Deborah Donkey by Brooke's Books.  New goal is to get all the white stitches stitched on her.

And new start #3 was Disney Mickey by Digipoint.  No goal for this one as I am not sure when I will get back to it.

Heather Hemstitch and Hardanger I have decided this is my stitching guild night project as it was originally a guild project and I need the teacher's help with it.  There are quite a few new stitches that I have never done and need assistance with.  Last month I completed the top section and I think I will only have one meeting before next TUSAL so my goal will be to finish that next section.

Draft Horses This one had no goal but I managed to add 231.5 stitches.  New goal is to add another 200 stitches.

Crazy Socks by Rosewood Manor did not have a goal and I am not even sure when I had last stitched on it but I did finish the stitching on the first sock and added a bunch more stitches to the border.

Phew!  I stitched on a lot of things last month.  Between Novem, which required me to stitch on 9 different projects and Stitching Bingo I was busy trying to get all my stitches in!  But I did have some time for fun with my boys.  Here they are having a chat with Santa.

And finally the badges I earned this past month

This was a fun one.  Each day there was a clue and you had to find the answer in the word search, which was a number, then stitch that many stitches.

Sorry it is so long.  It has literally taken me days to finish between work and wrapping presents and Christmas concerts.  I am tuckered out!  I hope you all have Merry Christmas and a wonderful holiday season!

Happy Stitching!

November TUSAL

 Hey guys!!
TUSAL time again!
Here are my orts -

And now onto the stitching!

Hannah Lynn by Heaven and Earth Designs had a goal of 600 stitches.  And I did... 2023!  I surprised myself when I added up my stitches.  New goal will remain at 600 as I don't have as many days this month to stitch on her.

Halloween Rules by LizzieKate's goal was to finish the Brew Some Fun block and stitch half the Greet A Ghost block and I did it!  Actually the Greet A Ghost block is pretty much done so my new goal is to finish the next block and get started on the last block!

Deepest Love by Mirabilia.  My goal was to finish the page I am stitching on and I did not finish it so my goal will remain the same.

Noel 2013 by Le Chalet Des Perelles.  My goal was to finish it and I did!

Frog Biscornu by Casey Buonaugurio Designs.  My goal was to finish the first side and get started on the second side and I did!  New goal is to completely stitch 2 frogs.

Spring Sampler by The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery.  I had no goal as I hadn't stitched on this in a long time.  New goal is to finish the next block.

Hardanger Needlebook designed by the Needlenut.  This was a guild project that I hadn't finished so it started being the project I brought to guild meeting and I finally finished it!

ABC Christmas by LizzieKate.  This one had no goal as I hadn't stitched on it in awhile.  New goal is to finish the word Angel.

And that is what I stitched on this month.  I have a few new starts that will be started by the next TUSAL and I am also participating in a SAL that requires you to stitch on 9 different wips during the month so next TUSAL report will be even bigger.  So you have been warned!

I earned a badge for a SAL I participated in.  This one you had a to stitch 1111 stitches for Rememberance Day.

Other than that there is nothing else much new with me.

Hope you are all well!

Happy Stitching!
