Some more progress and a new purchase!

Hiya!

So Brayden and I didn't make it to the embroidery event last weekend.  We were just having an off day and by that I mean there was attitudes flying and it was a wiser decision to just stay home and let everyone cool off.  So that is what we did and the rest of our weekend was so much better for it.  We had Brayden's parent-teacher interview which was wonderful, he is doing great in school and then on Saturday we went for a little road trip which I will talk about later.

I put a few more stitches in on ABC's Of Parenting.  I have decided for sure that I am going to stitch on this every other day until it is finished.

The Gift by Blackberrylane is getting there.  I am stitching on it today and I am going to get that lamb finished no matter what!

February from the Joyful World SAL is coming along slowly but that is how all my stitching goes so this one is no different.  I took this with me on our road trip last Saturday and managed to get a little more stitched on the grass.

So now to our road trip.  There was a farm show happening in Moncton, NB so off we went early Saturday morning.  I am not one for early morning especially to go to a farm show but there is a stitching store in Moncton so that is what got me out of bed so early.

Here are my boys enjoying the tractors.

And this was my purchase at Because You Count.  It is the Mothers And Daughters sampler by The Victoria Sampler.  I simply cannot wait to start this but as I was sorting the threads I noticed that I was missing 2 colors so I am going to have to wait until they come in.

Hope you all are well!

Happy Stitching!

  1. Don't you hate it when a kit is not complete? Great progress!

  3. Your not going was the right thing to do. As hard as that might have been.
I love both of these projects.

    1. Thank you! And you are right, he was really upset with me for not going and truth be told I was sad we didn't go too but letting him get away with poor behavior would have been worse.

  4. Sorry you had a bad day...but I guess the decision of not going wasn't so bad. Good progress on all your projects.
Lovely new stash, are those threads silk?

  5. sounds like a fun time even if it was off; being a mother of autistic girls, I wholly understand the notion of off days.
