March TUSAL

Hey guys!

It is TUSAL time again!  Here are my orts for this month.

Pretty measly.

But I did work on lots of projects this month.

First up is The Gift by Blackberry Lane.  This month I finished the little lamb and started on the verse and filled in the sides.  And after yesterday's stitching on it all I have left to do is finish 2 and a half rows of words and the top of the border.  This will definitely be a finish next month!

Next up is February from the Joyful World SAL by The Snowflower Diaries.  Last month all I had stitched was the border and the letter F.  I hope to get this one finished this month too.

ABC's Of Parenting by LizzieKate is closing in on a finish also.  Last month I was at "take time" and part way through the month I adjusted my rotation to start stitching on this every other day.  I am stitching on it today and I have a guild meeting tonight as long as the weather holds out so I am hoping to get close to finishing it.

I did have one finish this month which was Rascal Raccoon by Brooke's Books which is part of her Advent Animals freebies.  I have yet to start on the next one and as much as I am loving these cuties I think I need a break.  But I really want to have them finished for Christmas this year so I am going to suffer through.

I spent 1 and half days stitching on Pitbulls from FlumpkinsXstitch and managed about half a column.  I hope to finish that column this month and that will make a page finish on this project.

A new start this month was Deepest Love by Mirabilia.  I put it aside to finish ABC's Of Parenting and I am hoping to bring it back into the rotation once ABC's is finished.

And last but not least was Save The Stitches.  I finished Block 8!  I so can't wait to have this finished and hanging on my wall.

Thanks everyone for coming to visit with me!

Happy Stitching!

  1. Holy Smokin' Needles! You've been busy! The amount of orts collected only shows the ends of the thread. Not all the threads actually being worked. They look great! I don't blame you at all for spending more time with The ABC's. It's looking so good! Bravo!!

  2. Wow, you've worked on so many things this month! The Gift is so pretty, and all your stitching is lovely, but I'm just floored by Save the Stitches - what an incredible piece!

    1. Thank you so much Deb! I really enjoy stitching on Save The Stitches but can only work on it for short periods of time because it takes my brain some time to figure out the easiest way to stitch the patterns. :)
