Hello friends!!
Another day down on Cottage Trio and it is so close to being finished! Just need to stitch the big tree at the top and call it a day.

We have some new additions coming to our house in the next couple weeks, we are getting 30 chickens! Brayden is very excited and by Christmas time we should be eating our own eggs. So as you can imagine all the talking we do right now is about chickens and how they lay eggs and such. Well at breakfast the other morning Brayden says he thinks we should get a pig that lays bacon. If only they did!
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stitching!
Your cottage is so sweet. I'm looking forward to seeing the tree and finish!
ReplyDeleteWe have five chickens. They lay the best tasting eggs. It's hard to go back to store bought after raising your own - the home raised taste is superior.
Enjoy the adventure!
Thanks Amy! I am so excited to be able to eat our own eggs and to look outside and see the chickens running around the yard. I am hoping that I never have to go back to store bought so hopefully we are good chicken farmers :)
DeleteGood progress. Wow 30 chickens...the only animals I have ever had in my house are fishes(in an aquarium) and budgies(in a cage ).
ReplyDeleteThanks Mini! Right now we have a dog and fish but my family always had chickens and turkeys and geese when I was growing up so I know a little of what we are getting into. It should be fun!
DeleteI just love cottages. That is so cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks Shirley! Doesn't it just look like the coziest place to live! :)
DeleteYes it does and of course it doesn't hurt to be a bit of an anglophile.
