Life and a few pictures

Well well well.  It's been quite awhile since I have had a second to sit down and write a post.  And in all honesty I really should be folding clothes right now but it can wait.

Actually Thomas really needs a bath so I am going to do that and be right back.

Ok that is done.  I really have no idea how single moms do it.

So how have you all been?  I am struggling to keep up with my blog reading but so far I am managing, kinda.  Work is going quite well.  My part time job turned into a full time job while one of the managers had to take a leave but she will be back in 2 more weeks so I will be back to part time and that is quite fine with me.  My house is very neglected and I miss my family but the extra money right now is very nice.

On to the stitching!

Halloween Rules - I am actually quite a bit further on this block but I guess I haven't taken a picture lately.  How I would love to have this hanging on my wall right now but hopefully it will be next Halloween.

Deepest Love - I am enjoying this one so much!

Larry Lion - Looking quite creepy here.  I guess that works for this time of year.  I am also quite a bit further on this one.  I think I need to be a little more on top of taking progress pictures.

Mothers and Daughters - This one is accurate except for the few stitches I put in today.

And lastly is Hannah Lynn.  I am actually closer to the top of her head which means I almost have another column done!  Yay!

Well yall, it's been nice to catch up but I am tired so I am gong to go to bed and hopefully watch a whole episode of Downton Abbey before I fall asleep.

I am hoping to be back tomorrow... maybe... with a finish.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Stitching!

  1. Love Love Love! All the stitching you have done despite having a full time job and raising the youngin's is awesome!
Happy Stitching and I always look forward to seeing the progress. happy Stitching xxx East Coast Stitcher

  2. I have not been in mood of blogging myself. Its great that you still wrote this post after a full time job and kids.
Nice progress on all your projects.

  3. These are amazing as usual. While my kids were small I felt the same way about working moms. I honestly don't know how my mom and dad did it. Tag team effort to raise 7 kids I guess. Your a great mom. Don't doubt that. :)

    1. Oh thank you so much! And 7 kids is beyond what my brain can comprehend. How would you keep track of them all? :)

  4. You made wonderful progress on your stitching projects. And when you are back to working part time you will have more time for blog reading and stitching again.

    1. Thank you Brigitte! And you are right. Another week and things should settle down. :)

  5. I know this feeling so well. It would be nice if Time had a pause button just so we could stitch and craft away every day without losing a minute to get all those jobs done. I hope you have more time now Khristine. I really like your blog too!

    1. Awww thank you so much! I am only scheduled to work 3 days this coming week so maybe my house will get a little bit of attention this week :) Hope your new job is going well! Or does go well. I can't remember if it was this week or next week you start :)
