Stitching complete!

Well hello there!

Yesterday I finished all the stitching on Titania.  What a wonderful feeling that was!

These are the last picture you all will see of her until her beads are complete.  I am about halfway up one wing so far and I am loving beading but the beading needle and I are having a hard time getting used to each other.  It seems to have a mind of it's own and most of the time it wants to be stuck in my finger.

Well I am off to Game of Thrones trivia with some friends.  Do any of you watch it?  If not I think it is super and everyone should watch it :)

Hope you all have a wonderful day today!

Happy Stitching!

  1. Gorgeous! I love her ethereal wings. Did you do her face and all of her skin 1 over 1? It looks so fine.

I've only seen the first couple of seasons of Game of Thrones and I loved it. I'm waiting for my husband to get some time off from work so we can order HBO Go and binge watch it.

I look forward to seeing Titania in all her beaded glory. Keep your fingers safe :)

    1. Thank you Amy!! It is over 1. That was the first time I ever tried over 1 and while it was time consuming it wasn't that bad.

Good idea on binge watching it. I hate waiting week to week to find out what is going to happen. haha.

Haha! I need some thimbles or something to save my fingers :D

  3. I love this series! How long did it take? The mention of thimbles made me laugh. My own daughters, who are in their 20s, asked me what a thimble was upon finding one in a sewing basket that was my grandmother's. And boy did I get strange looks when I told them what it was used for. Ah, the digital age. Keep up the good work, lady!

    1. Thanks Shirley! I started her around May 1, 2015 but put her away for months at a time... I don't know why! I guess to get some progress on other things but I am sure I could have just worked on her because she was a joy to stitch.

Haha! I am sure there are many sewing implements that 20 year olds would think are strange :)

  4. Titania looks gorgeous. Can't wait to see it in her full glory with beads.
I don't watch GoT however have heard so much about it. One of the ladies in my craft group once said it should be made mandatory for ppl to watch GoT ..ha ha
