Save the Stitches part 4

I have been working on Save the Stitches for the St. Patrick's Day SAL with the Cross Stitch, Its fun!!! group but I need a break.  I find stitching this really draining on my brain.  I can't just take a quick glance at the pattern then stitch it up, I need to keep checking the pattern to make sure I am on the right track.  But.... I love it!  It is so beautiful and while it is something you really need to pay attention to it does go fairly quickly.

Here are some close-ups.

Last week at our stitching group we made Temari Balls.  I am amazed at how talented this group of people are, and I am just so thankful that I found them and they are willing to teach me all these things.

For the first time our ball were already wrapped with the underneath thread (the white thread) and we learned how to wrap everything on top (the green, gold and white).  We are going to make another one next month.  Click here to see more Temari Balls.

And yes that does look snowy in the picture above as we have had another storm today with another 50cm of snow.  Ugh!!  I am done with winter.

Happy Stitching!!  :)
