Hello friends!
I am late this month but I actually have a valid excuse this time! My job went from 12 hours a week to 40ish hours a week so my time for anything has been cut. I haven't officially accepted the job so I am going to give it a go for a month or so then decide if a full time job will work for our family. So far so good though!
Now on to the orts!
Pretty skimpy :(
I had one finish this month.
Deborah Donkey by Brooke`s Books. Only 1 to go!
Hannah Lynn by Heaven and Earth Designs. My goal was to add 600 and I added 1507! I know I won`t get that many in again this month but I am going to try for 900 or a page finish. Whatever comes first.
Rudolph Reindeer by Brooke`s Books. My goal was to finish him and I am very close so my goal will remain the same.
Spring Sampler by The Frosted Pumpkins. I had no goal for this but I did manage to finish the second row. My goal for this will be to finish the block I am stitching on right now.
April from The Joyful World SAL by The Snowflower Diaries. My goal was to finish the bunny and I only got his bottom half stitched. New goal is to finish this.
Manger Ornament by Alessandra Adelaide. My goal was to add 200 stitches and I added 210. I am going to keep my goal at 200 stitches.
So for all that stitching I managed to finish stitching another planet for the Semi Sane Stitches Facebook group.
I also received a couple badges from The Ultimate Cross Stitch Group for completing some SALs.
And another from the Semi Sane Stitches. This one was a SAL where each letter in your name had a value so a=10, b=20 and so on. And then you doubled your number... I had to stitch 2260... and they all had to be on Hannah Lynn, which is why I made such great progress on her.
And a few pictures of my boys. Tom turned 6 this past month and here he is opening gifts at his party. Just a little excited :)
Here is Bray at the Heritage Fair at his school. His grade had to take in an artifact that had to do with their family history. He chose to take a cream can that came from his great grandparents farm. They would take the cream to the creamery once a week and to keep it cold between trips they would keep the can in the brook.
So I guess that is it for me. I have to work in the morning so I best head off to bed.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stitching!
