It is a beautiful day here on PEI! The sun is shining and I have nothing to do today except relax. It is wonderful! We had Brayden's birthday party on Friday evening and I am still recuperating from that!
This past week in my stitching world I worked on Little Wings. I am this close to finishing the little girls dress! Hopefully tomorrow it will be finished.
I also put a few more stitches on Hannah Lynn. I am stitching her every Wednesday for the All That Glitters SAL on the Stitch Maynia facebook group. So far I haven't stitched any "glitter" but I still have 2 more Wednesdays so I think I will get to some before the month is over.
And lastly I stitched on my Beatrix Potter Bunnies. I am getting very close to the halfway mark on this project. Just this little bit left on this page.
I hope you all had a great week and thanks for stopping by to visit with me!
I have recently joined a lot of you in the future and got a cell phone. The last time I had a cell was when Brayden was first born - 7 years ago. A lot has changed since then! There is a big difference between a Motorola Razr and an Iphone!
Anywho I joined Instagram. If any of you are on instagram let me know what your instagram name is so I can follow you and mine is khristinedoiron1985 if you want to follow me.
Here is my boy last night at the exhibition, way up high on the Ferris Wheel, holding on for dear life. I don't know how 7 snuck up on me so quick but it is here already.
Happy Birthday to my sweet boy who cried himself to sleep last night because it was his last night being 6. My sweet boy who would rather be checking his chickens or watering his garden than playing video games. If only you would stay this little forever!
And little cross stitch for those of you who come here for that :) I stitched a little more on Hannah Lynn, little being the key word.
I am sure a therapist would have something interesting to say about this habit of mine. But really I am just too ocd about stitching from the bottom up... they might have something to say about that too.
The little girl's dress on Little Wings is proving to be more difficult than the lady's dress. Or maybe I am just not paying as much attention as I should be... that is probably the actual problem. I back stitched her dress only to realize I should have used 1 strand but I used 2 so that had to come out and go back in. Luckily the other mistakes I have made were caught very early so there wasn't much fixing.
Today I think we are heading to the Car Life Museum. They are celebrating their 50th anniversary and admission to get in is 1966 prices. 50 cents for adults and 25 cents for kids. Should be fun!
